Griffin Class goes to Dover Castle

Dover Castle - July 2024

As part of their work learning about historical buildings in Kent, Griffin Class visited Dover Castle. They saw how different periods of history are represented in one site: the Roman lighthouse, the Saxon church, the Medieval keep, the WW1 fire command and WW2 underground hospital.

It was a fun day, helped by some glorious weather (and not helped by some greedy seagulls who tried to steal their lunches!).
