Griffin Class' visit to the Gurdwara
We loved our visit to the Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara in Gravesend. This is the largest Sikh temple in Europe, and was a fantastic opportunity to put all our learning into context. We were invited to share in langar, a free meal served every day to all member of the community, before watching a musical performance and seeing the main prayer hall. The children were praised by our guide for their excellent behaviour, manners and inquisitiveness. They were a real credit to the school!
