Kickback and Read 2024!

We were blessed with a fabulous summer's day to sprawl around in the playground this afternoon and enjoy our books in dappled shade along with a summer fruit drink and a lolly....what bliss! The whole school downed the usual tasks of a Wednesday afternoon to remind ourselves how enjoyable it is to open up a book and just read. It was a lovely atmosphere and such a joy to see everyone with their noses in books as they lost themselves in whatever informational or storyworlds their books were offering to them. It's a great tradition that we've been following for some years now at Wickhambreaux CEPS and long may it continue. Keep reading everyone!
