FAIR PLAY AWARD WINNERS 

REPORT:

On Tuesday 8th October, some Year 5 and Year 6 children went to a Tag Rugby Tournament. We had a lot of fun.

In the morning session, we played very well but came up against some very good teams and struggled to get the results that our performances deserved winning 1 of our 4 games.

We were placed in a different group in the afternoon where we won 2 out of 3 and ended the day finishing in 11th place.

We also had some Year 3 and 4 children taking part in the “Mega Tag” festival which involved playing a number of rugby based skills games. Good fun was had by all.

The children from all 4 years groups showed great commitment, determination, sportsmanship and fair play which was rewarded in winning the overall “Fair Play” trophy. An achievement which we should be incredibly proud of.
