Welcome
from Mrs Lisa Crosbie, Headteacher
On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to Wickhambreaux Church of England Primary School.
Wickhambreaux CEP School is a small, rural, Voluntary Controlled Church of England Primary School on the outskirts of Canterbury, Kent. As an inclusive church school serving a diverse community, we take pride in developing the spiritual and moral education of all children based on our core Christian values of Love, Trust and Community.
At Wickhambreaux, our dedicated staff work extremely hard to ensure that every child reaches their full potential. We set high standards for both academic achievement and behaviour, fostering an environment where all children can excel. We believe in nurturing each child's God-given unique talents in all areas of the curriculum such as art, music, and sports, allowing them to flourish and experience 'life in all its fullness'.
The curriculum at Wickhambreaux aims to provide a broad and balanced learning experience for each child. We aim to prepare children for the future, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the next stage of their educational journey. Our goal is to nurture responsible, confident citizens who are ready to actively participate in society.
We work together as one community with a common purpose – to ensure that our children are happy and successful, developing a lifelong love of learning.
We value the partnership we have with parents in ensuring the best outcomes for all our children, including those with SEND. By working together, we can provide a rewarding, fulfilling, and joyful learning journey for every child at our school.
We hope that you would like to be a part of Wickhambreaux CEP School, and that our website gives you an idea of what life is like with us. Visits to the school are very much welcomed. We would love to see you!
Lisa Crosbie
